School Profile

Graves School District is a single site district located in a rural agricultural area 2 miles west of Salinas and 8 miles east of Monterey Bay. The city of Salinas, with a population of nearly 150,000 residents, is in the heart of the Salinas Valley. The Salinas Valley is known as "The Salad Bowl of the World" for the wide selection of produce grown in the fertile valley. The area is also well known for its missions, situated along "El Camino Real," the John Steinbeck Center and Festival, California Rodeo, as well as world-class wines produced in recent years.
